For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not Fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13
At the beginning you have questions that you ask yourself… questions you ask of your life and God. Then reality begins to set in.
Next come the doubts and once again you are questioning yourself… life and God. Then the struggle takes its hold.
By now the anger arrives, along with self-pity… depression… and despair. But… hope will still manage to find you anyway.
Because, when you finally surrender… it is then that the spiritual healing process can take over. A breakthrough that is accompanied with the Restoration of God’s Sustaining Peace, which surrounds you and suddenly you realize you are not alone…
God is still with you, even in your darkest hour and deepest pain, in your desperate prayers God has been holding you, comforting you and carrying you the whole time–just like He said He would.
But the question you must be brave enough to ask yourself is… has this experience made you a better person or a bitter person?
